Way Losing, London

A day trying to get lost in London with artist Bill Aitchinson. It proved difficult and really only felt successful having been blindfolded for a section of the walk. I think what I take away from this is the question of what it means to be lost, which for me is more a temporary state of mind related to the sense of fear and disorientation, rather than actually not knowing where you are or how to get home. To be physically lost is almost impossible, especially in a familiar urban setting like London where you are only ever a few metres from public transport or a landmark to help reorientate.
